Client Liaison Officer – Medical Aid & Employee Benefits

About the role

We are seeking a Client Liaison Officer to manage medical aid and employee benefits accounts for our financial services clients in the Western Cape.

Required profile

• Minimum matric with a tertiary qualification advantageous.
• RE5 certification and NQF level 5 qualification are essential.
• At least 5 years experience in financial services or wealth management.
• Minimum 3 years experience in employee benefits such as medical aid, hospital plans, pension funds and group life plans.
• Experience managing parastatal client accounts is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record in new‑business acquisition and key account management within a target‑driven environment.
• Strong customer‑care, business‑development, networking and compliance background.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional presentation and ability to build multi‑level business relationships.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (read, write, speak); fluency in Zulu and Xhosa is a plus.
• Competent in MS Office with strong report‑writing ability.
• Trustworthy, ethical and accountable with a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
