About the role
Get Real is South Africa’s leading platform for concerts and live music tours. We are looking for a reliable Cashier to join our internal operations and act as the primary financial contact for fans at the point of sale.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash and digital transactions for tickets and merchandise with 100% accuracy.
- Serve as a virtual receptionist, answering fan queries in a professional tone.
- Maintain and reconcile the daily cash float, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Provide accurate receipts to fans to uphold brand credibility.
- Manage customer queues at the point of sale to ensure a fast, seamless experience during peak event hours.
Required profile
- High numerical accuracy and precision in handling money under pressure.
- Clean track record of honesty and financial responsibility.
- Polite and empathetic service excellence during high‑volume events.
- Comfort navigating POS software and digital payment platforms such as Yoco and SnapScan.
- Strong attention to detail for data entry and record‑keeping.
