Care Home Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in‑home support for our clients, helping them preserve independence and dignity. The role requires travelling to the client’s residence and delivering a range of personal and domestic assistance as agreed with the client and Charlton Kings. You will act as a trusted companion, ensuring daily routines run smoothly while promoting a safe and comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support shopping, meal preparation and prompt medication intake.
• Help maintain daily routines, provide respite services and monitor overall wellbeing.
• Encourage socialising, leisure activities and facilitate access to community resources.
• Offer companionship, assist with mobility and ensure a safe living environment.

Required profile

• Respectful attitude toward each individual’s preferences and independence.
• Willingness to travel to client homes and adapt to varied schedules.
• Ability to deliver care comparable to that provided by a family member.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow agreed care plans.
