About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the electronic security market. You will identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth across South Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and follow up on new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Develop and execute detailed business development and sales plans.
- Identify and build relationships with key partners, system integrators, installers, distributors and end‑users.
- Implement annual and periodic sales activity plans and drive brand awareness.
- Prioritise target accounts to strengthen market presence.
- Collaborate with the sales team to position the company as a preferred solutions provider.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure accurate CRM reporting.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development within the electronic security industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, commercial relations, business management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the electronic security market and full sales cycle.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
