About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the electronic security market. You will identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect and follow up on new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Develop and execute detailed business development and sales plans.
  • Identify and build relationships with key partners, system integrators, installers, distributors and end‑users.
  • Implement annual and periodic sales activity plans and drive brand awareness.
  • Prioritise target accounts to strengthen market presence.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to position the company as a preferred solutions provider.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure accurate CRM reporting.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in business development within the electronic security industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, commercial relations, business management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the electronic security market and full sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
