AI Designer – Graphic Designer (Prompt, AI)

About the role

The AI Designer will blend visual storytelling with performance marketing and artificial‑intelligence tools to create high‑impact digital assets. Working in a hybrid setting at a fast‑moving digital marketing agency in Cape Town, you will help shape how AI enhances the creative workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce visual assets for programmatic ads, social media, landing pages and on‑site experiences.
• Translate creative briefs into effective design solutions that meet campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers and marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Leverage AI image‑generation tools and prompt engineering to accelerate ideation and production.
• Build and maintain prompt libraries, templates and automated workflows.
• Optimize assets for engagement, conversion and overall campaign performance.
• Ensure consistent brand identity across all outputs.
• Stay current with design trends, AI technologies and new production methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in graphic design for digital channels, preferably in an agency or studio environment.
• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital work, including AI‑assisted projects.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
