Designer (Fixed-term, 1 Jun – 31 Jul) – Woodmead

About the role

We are looking for a talented Designer to join our team on a short‑term, fixed‑term contract from 1 June to 31 July. Working primarily on‑site in Woodmead with one remote day per week, you will create high‑quality visual solutions for both print and digital channels, supporting our brand objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, layouts and final artwork for print and digital media.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate briefs into effective visual solutions.
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure all outputs meet the highest quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising to meet tight deadlines.
• Prepare production‑ready files and package assets according to specifications.
• Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback and iterate on designs.
• Source appropriate imagery, typography and other design assets.
• Support the wider creative team with ad‑hoc design tasks.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional design experience in a studio, agency or in‑house environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both print and digital work.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially typography, layout and colour.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with Figma (advantageous).
• Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro (advantageous).
• Knowledge of project‑management tools like Asana or Trello (advantageous).
