About the role
The Administration Assistant will support the Home Manager with a full range of reception, administrative and basic finance activities, ensuring the home operates smoothly and safely for residents, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and direct visitors, providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact.
- Enforce current infection‑control rules for all visitors and coordinate any required testing.
- Organise couriers, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and handle related administrative tasks.
- Perform basic finance duties such as processing invoices and maintaining simple financial records.
- Assist the Activities Coordinator in planning and managing events, including birthdays, celebrations and staff presentations.
- Maintain accurate records, update filing systems and ensure timely correspondence.
Required profile
- Professional and courteous demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow protocols and work collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
