About the role
The South African State Theatre is offering seven graduate‑level internships for 2026. Each placement lasts 12 months and is based at the theatre’s headquarters in Pretoria. Interns will work in Human Resources, Artistic Administration, Lighting or Videography, gaining practical experience in a professional theatre environment.
Required profile
- National Diploma in the relevant field (Human Resources Management, Theatre and Performance, or Film and Television Techniques).
- No prior work experience required.
What we offer
- Monthly stipend of R5,600 for the duration of the 12‑month programme.
- Hands‑on experience in a leading cultural institution with exposure to both administrative and artistic operations.
