About the role

Join the Case Management team of the Competition Tribunal and explore a career in competition economics. The 12‑month paid internship offers on‑the‑job training as an economist, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world market analysis and to observe Tribunal hearings.

Key responsibilities

  • Work on competition matters that shape competitive markets, including mergers and prohibited practices.
  • Attend Tribunal hearings to observe practitioners in action and gain insight into adjudication processes.
  • Apply academic economics knowledge to real‑world cases and develop new analytical skills.

Required profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Economics.
  • Ability to submit a motivation letter (up to 500 words) expressing interest in competition economics.
