About the role

Join @home at the Mall of Africa for a 12‑month fixed‑term youth opportunity. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic retail environment, helping you develop customer‑facing skills and a solid foundation for a career in retail.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service on the shop floor.
• Assist with product presentation, visual merchandising and stock replenishment.
• Process sales transactions and handle cash registers accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Support promotional activities and seasonal displays.

Required profile

• Aged between 18 and 28 years.
• Matriculation (preferable).
• Available for a fixed‑term 12‑month contract.
• Not employed permanently with a single employer for more than one year.
• Not enrolled in full‑time study during the employment period (April 26 – March 27).
• Never previously participated in the YES programme.
• Willing to arrange personal accommodation and transportation if needed.
• Preference given to candidates from designated groups under the Employment Equity Act.
