Youth Opportunity – 12-Month Fixed-Term Retail Role (18-28)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic young South Africans to join our retail team for a life‑changing first work experience. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers hands‑on exposure to a dynamic retail environment, helping you develop essential customer‑facing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers on the shop floor and provide product information.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain store presentation, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
• Support inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets.

Required profile

• Aged between 18 and 28 years.
• Matric qualification (preferable).
• Available for a fixed‑term 12‑month contract.
• Not permanently employed with a single employer for more than one year.
• Not enrolled in full‑time study during the employment period (April 26 – March 27).
• Never previously participated in the YES programme.
• Accommodation and transportation to be arranged by the applicant.
• Preference given to candidates from designated groups under the Employment Equity Act.
