Xero Solutions Consultant – Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who specialises in Xero cloud‑accounting solutions. You will work closely with our clients and internal accountants to implement, optimise and support Xero, helping businesses streamline their financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Xero implementations for new and existing clients.
• Migrate accounting data from legacy systems into Xero.
• Configure and customise Xero settings, chart of accounts and reporting to meet client needs.
• Provide training, ongoing support and troubleshooting for Xero users.
• Assist clients with bank feeds, reconciliations and automation.
• Implement Xero add‑ons and third‑party integrations.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on month‑end and year‑end processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new Xero features and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management or related field (BCom Accounting, Finance).
• Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Xero experience.
• Experience working in an accounting practice is highly advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as Xero Advisor are a strong plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero cloud‑accounting platform.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Data migration and integration knowledge.
