Web & SEO Specialist – Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for a creative, results‑driven Web & SEO Specialist to own and launch a new website for a boutique personal injury law firm. You will bridge technical site architecture with conversion‑focused design to turn the site into a high‑performing case‑generating engine.

Key responsibilities

• Convert approved design mockups into a fast, fully responsive website and manage it end‑to‑end after launch.
• Build and maintain practice‑area, location, and blog pages within the CMS.
• Continuously improve UX, page speed, accessibility, security, and bug‑free performance.
• Own site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, indexation, XML sitemaps, redirects, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Implement structured data and legal schema (LegalService, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb).
• Conduct high‑intent keyword research focused on case‑driving terms and local NYC locations.
• Optimize on‑page content while maintaining E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL standards.
• Manage Google Business Profile, local citations, and location pages for map‑pack visibility.
• Support link‑building and digital‑PR initiatives.
• Run CRO experiments on intake forms, click‑to‑call paths, and live chat.
• Own GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking, and rank tracking to shape growth roadmaps.

Required profile

• 3+ years at the intersection of web design/build and SEO (agency or in‑house).
• Proven experience delivering fast, conversion‑focused sites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong grasp of technical, on‑page, and local SEO with measurable ranking improvements.
• Highly organized, able to manage full web launches independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
