Warehouse Lead – Cold Storage Operations

About the role

Snolink Logistics, a specialist cold‑storage and logistics provider, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to manage daily operations at its Montague Garden facility in Durban. The role combines hands‑on warehouse management with team leadership in a fast‑paced, food‑safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch activities.
• Maintain accurate stock handling, support cycle counts and stock‑take processes.
• Lead and coach warehouse teams to meet productivity and performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Coordinate maintenance of warehouse equipment and assets.
• Monitor operational costs, prepare reports and provide performance insights.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet customer service levels.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or higher; a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field is preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics or cold‑storage operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock management processes.
