Warehouse Assistant – Stormhill & Amalgam (Johannesburg)

About the role

We are a wholesale and retail company looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support our logistics operations in Johannesburg. The role involves receiving, picking, packing, and ensuring inventory accuracy while maintaining a safe, clean warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack, scan and label orders for delivery.
• Receive, unload, sort and store inventory in designated locations.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and handle incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Conduct stock counts and participate in cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols, keep aisles clear and operate equipment safely.
• Update inventory records and manage shipping documentation.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Clear criminal record.
• Ability to work at both Stormhill (Warehouse 1) and Amalgam (Warehouse 2) locations.

Required skills

• Operation of scanners, forklifts and pallet jacks (or willingness to learn).
• Basic computer literacy for using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

What we offer

• Hourly wage of R30.23.
• Full‑time, on‑site position in Johannesburg.
