Warehouse Assistant / Picker

About the role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Assistant / Picker to join our team in the south of Johannesburg. The role is physically demanding and ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, learning new processes, and contributing to a busy warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load, move and handle stock items up to approximately 40 kg.
• Assist with regular stock takes and overall stock control.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Operate a forklift after completing required training and licensing.
• Use computer systems and digital filing processes in a largely paperless environment.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively in a busy setting.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work with Outlook, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.
• Valid driver’s licence is an advantage but not essential.
