About the role

The City of Regina is seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Visitor Services Guide to join its Tourism department. Based at the YQR Airport, you will be the first point of contact for travelers, providing information, assistance, and promotional items. This part‑time, casual position offers flexible hours and the chance to showcase Regina’s attractions.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls, record details, and resolve or route inquiries within set timelines.
  • Respond to email and social‑media questions promptly.
  • Provide in‑person assistance at the Visitor Services Desk, including selling promotional items.
  • Set up and manage tourism booths at city events, distributing guides and promotional materials.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department as needed.

Required profile

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexible availability for shifts Wednesday through Sunday and occasional event work.
  • Interest in promoting local tourism and cultural attractions.
