Virtual Assistant – Patient Communications & Quality (US Healthcare)

About the role

This position provides a human quality‑control and support layer for patient communications within a U.S.-based healthcare campaign. You will review AI‑generated drafts, refine them for accuracy, clarity and empathy, and step in when additional research or a personal response is required.

Key responsibilities

• Review and edit draft patient messages to ensure accuracy, clarity, professionalism and empathy.
• Send routine patient updates, confirmations and reminders following approved workflows.
• Identify incomplete or inaccurate drafts and make necessary corrections.
• Conduct basic online or system research to obtain correct information for patient queries.
• Escalate complex queries to the appropriate team member.
• Accurately enter data across multiple systems, including Airtable and the client’s proprietary application.
• Maintain documentation and records of patient communications in line with healthcare guidelines.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year experience in the U.S. healthcare industry (EHR or admin experience a plus).
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
• Empathetic, detail‑oriented, organized and self‑driven.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; comfortable navigating multiple databases and digital tools.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
