Videographer & Content Creator

About the role

We are seeking a creative Videographer Content Creator to join Major Tech’s marketing team in Johannesburg. The role will produce, edit and repurpose video assets that showcase our products and brand across South Africa and Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit a variety of video content including promotional clips, social‑media reels, interviews, tutorials and event coverage.
• Write engaging scripts and storyboards that translate a single video into multiple storytelling formats.
• Create complementary visual assets such as graphics, motion graphics and short animations for social platforms.
• Conduct research on industry and social‑media trends, perform competitor analysis and integrate findings into content strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop editorial calendars, launch product videos and measure performance metrics.
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure all visual output meets company standards.

Required profile

• Passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of branding and social‑media dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across two geographic markets.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video‑editing software.
• Experience in scriptwriting and storyboarding.
• Knowledge of motion‑graphics and basic animation techniques.
