Vice President, Specialist Sales, Transfer Solutions – Africa

About the role

The New Payments Platforms team is seeking a Vice President to lead the end‑to‑end growth and commercialization of Mastercard’s Transfer Solutions portfolio across Africa. This senior position will own the go‑to‑market and sales strategy for Mastercard Send and Cross‑Border Services, driving client acquisition and revenue growth for domestic and cross‑border use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute go‑to‑market and sales strategies in partnership with account teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Own commercialization, pricing, and revenue growth for P2P, remittance, and B2B use cases.
• Manage P&L, commercial frameworks, incentive structures, and business case development.
• Lead and develop regional sales teams, supporting both client acquisition and portfolio expansion.
• Engage senior stakeholders at financial institutions, fintechs, and digital players.
• Collaborate with product, market development, operations, compliance, legal, and marketing teams to deliver prioritized opportunities.
• Shape and localize value propositions based on market insights and competitive dynamics.

Required profile

• Proven experience scaling money‑transfer solutions and leading complex sales cycles.
• Strong track record managing senior stakeholder relationships across banks, fintechs, and digital platforms.
• Ability to combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution.
• Experience in P&L ownership and commercial model development.
