About the role
Embryo Plus is seeking a full‑time Veterinary Assistant to join its team in Brits, South Africa. The role supports veterinary professionals in delivering high‑quality animal health and reproductive services.
Key responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with routine examinations, treatments and clinical procedures.
- Handle and restrain animals safely, ensuring welfare standards.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, clean equipment and restock supplies.
- Monitor animal conditions, record observations and help with basic documentation.
- Interact with clients, providing clear care instructions and answering questions.
Required profile
- Experience or training in animal care, veterinary support or related settings.
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Physical capability to lift, stand and work in a farm or clinical environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
