Vehicle Sales Executive – New Cars (Durban)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Vehicle Sales Executive to join our dealership in Durban. You will guide customers through the purchase of brand‑new cars, manage leads, and help the showroom achieve its sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet showroom visitors and respond to online or phone enquiries.
• Explain vehicle features, specifications, safety ratings and warranties.
• Organise and accompany customers on test drives, ensuring safety.
• Negotiate final vehicle prices, trade‑in values and optional extras.
• Coordinate with the finance team to process credit applications, contracts and legal paperwork.
• Follow up with buyers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals.

Required profile

• Valid South African Matric Certificate, ID and driver’s licence.
• 3‑5 years of experience in an OEM motor‑vehicle dealership.
• No criminal record, no ITC, and never been dismissed from employment.
• Ability to provide recent pay slips and commission statements.
• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• CRM system usage.
