Van Assistant – General Worker

About the role
Premier FMCG is seeking a reliable Van Assistant to support the loading and off‑loading of products on delivery routes. You will ensure that the correct number of pallets and items are transferred safely and efficiently between the vehicle and client locations.
Key responsibilities
- Check company products against the loading sheet and sign off.
- Adhere to scheduled departure times.
- Maintain vehicle safety and hygiene standards.
- Collect and off‑load pallets at customer sites.
- Report any accidents immediately to the transport department and Warehouse Manager.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- 2–3 years experience in sales delivery or similar logistics role.
- Code 10 driver’s licence is desirable.
- Availability for excessive working hours, including weekends, public holidays and a 6‑day work week.
- Ability to work in noisy, warm and pressurised environments.
- Own transportation to travel between work locations.
