Used Vehicle Sales Executive

About the role

AUTO24, a leading platform for buying and selling used vehicles in Africa, is looking for a Used Vehicle Sales Executive in Roodepoort. This is a performance-driven, results-based role where results are tracked daily, weekly and monthly.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively prospect for new business every day through calls, walk-ins, follow-ups, referrals and online leads.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets on units, gross profit and activity metrics.
• Conduct meet-and-greets and needs analysis, present vehicles and run test drives in line with company policy.
• Convert enquiries into signed deals, manage the full sales process from enquiry to delivery and handle trade-in evaluations and basic deal structuring.
• Capture and update customer data in the CRM, prepare and submit deal files on time, and work with F&I and admin teams.
• Upsell warranties, service plans and accessories, and deliver a premium customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with CPA, NCA, FICA and internal policies, and follow up after sale to generate referrals.

Required profile

• Proven sales track record of meeting or exceeding targets; automotive experience preferred but strong general sales performers welcome.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, confident, professional and customer-centric.
• Strong negotiation and closing ability, self-disciplined and able to handle high call volumes and active prospecting.
• Valid South African driver's licence (non-negotiable).
• Ability to work retail hours including weekends.
