US Customer Service Agent - Back Office

About the role

The US Customer Service Agent – Back Office provides support to healthcare providers by answering queries on benefit plans and claims. The role involves accurate data entry, eligibility verification, and clear written and verbal communication.

Key responsibilities

• Answer providers' questions related to Benefit Plans, Claims and related topics.
• Communicate effectively to obtain additional information from providers.
• Perform accurate data entry and eligibility/benefit verification.
• Create grammatically correct, compliant written communications.
• Engage in clear, effective verbal dialogue with providers.

Required profile

• Strong computer navigation skills with a typing speed of 30 WPM and 95% accuracy.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office functions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to collaborate with internal customers and work independently.
• Preferred knowledge of medical terminology and sound decision‑making under supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Experience using email and web‑enabled applications.
