Trust Administrator – Cape Town

About the role

The Trust Administrator will act as a subject‑matter expert in fiduciary administration, supporting complex queries and providing escalation support for high‑level matters. Reporting to the Value Proposition Owner, the role combines technical knowledge of trust processes with client‑focused service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Fiduciary Specialists with trustee meetings, documentation, and correspondence.
• Manage onboarding, filing, and electronic record‑keeping for wills and trusts, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulation.
• Coordinate FICA/FATCA documentation, maintain client registers, and oversee daily delivery planning.
• Support financial statements preparation, client bank account management, and payment processing.
• Liaise with financial advisers, beneficiaries, and external partners to preserve and grow client relationships.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing new policies, systems, and procedures.

Required profile

• Business‑related degree, diploma, or extensive hands‑on experience in a fiduciary environment.
• 5–7 years of relevant financial services industry experience, preferably within high‑net‑worth client administration.
• Strong administration skills, attention to detail, excellent written communication, and total confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Fennec Trust Administration Software is advantageous.
