Travel Consultant – Pretoria

About the role

Pentravel, a division of Cullinan Holdings, is looking for a dynamic Travel Consultant to join its Pretoria team. You will deliver exceptional service, design bespoke itineraries and help customers book all elements of their trips while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Design and sell customized travel itineraries that match client preferences, budgets and needs.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, visas, travel insurance and related requirements.
• Maximise sales through upselling, cross‑selling and promoting preferred partners.
• Maintain accurate client records using the company’s operational systems.
• Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and efficiently.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and product knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a sales‑driven, target‑oriented role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays on a roster basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation systems; experience with Amadeus is advantageous.
