Transport / Fleet Controller

About the role
The Transport/Fleet Controller will oversee daily transport and fleet operations for a leading national company in the Vaal Triangle. This role requires strong operational knowledge, a focus on safety and quality, and the ability to manage capacity efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, communicate and report on transport activities.
- Take full ownership and accountability for all operational requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and safety across operational areas.
- Ensure adherence to existing processes, both manual and system‑based.
- Provide effective written and verbal communication.
- Maximise utilisation of fleet capacity.
- Draft regular operational reports.
- Update and maintain relevant systems.
Required profile
- Strong experience and knowledge of operations within the transport/logistics industry.
- Grade tertiary qualification is an advantage.
- Proven experience in a transport environment.
- Clean criminal record.
- Computer literacy is essential.
