Transaction Manager

About the role

The Transaction Manager will join the Capital Markets division of a leading corporate and commercial real estate consultancy operating across South Africa’s major commercial hubs. You will be responsible for managing property and capital‑markets transactions from instruction through to close, working closely with clients, legal teams and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end property and capital‑markets transactions, from sourcing opportunities to final execution.
• Structure, negotiate and close deals in collaboration with legal counsel and internal teams.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Business Development to qualify new opportunities and drive pipeline growth.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Property, Law or a related field.
• Proven experience managing property or capital‑markets transactions from instruction to close.
• Strong background in deal structuring, due diligence and negotiation.
• Experience working closely with legal teams and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Competitive remuneration package ranging from 800,000 to 900,000 (local currency).
