Trainee – Application & Flavour Development (6‑month rotation)

About the role

This 6‑month trainee programme offers a hands‑on rotation across several functions within our laboratory. You will gain practical experience in flavour application for sweet, savoury and beverage products while developing a solid understanding of daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor personal performance against defined KPIs and review progress regularly.
• Work under the guidance of mentors and coaches to ensure continuous development.
• Apply flavours to sweet goods, savoury dishes and beverage applications.
• Participate in regular product tasting sessions to evaluate flavour performance.
• Produce prototype samples for ongoing projects.
• Receive, inspect and control raw materials entering the lab.
• Organise and refresh stock samples to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Record experimental data using company software.
• Support the smooth operation of the laboratory environment.
• Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene and environmental protection standards.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a relevant scientific or food‑technology degree program.
• Strong interest in product development and laboratory work.
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures.

Required skills

• Basic data entry using laboratory software.
