Trails Guide & Lodge Management Couple – Zululand, KZN

About the role

This full‑time position is for an experienced Trails Guide and Lodge Management couple to run daily operations at a boutique safari lodge in Zululand, KwaZulu‑Natal. The role combines wildlife guiding, mechanical upkeep and comprehensive hospitality management in a remote, live‑in setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily lodge operations, including guest services, reservations, housekeeping and food & beverage oversight.
• Guide guests on wildlife trails, ensuring safety and delivering educational experiences.
• Perform routine mechanical maintenance, property repairs and general upkeep of lodge facilities.
• Manage staff, conduct training, and oversee administration, stock control and reporting.
• Maintain all required guiding permits and licences up to date.

Required profile

• Qualified Trails Guide with current permits and proven safari lodge experience.
• Strong mechanical, maintenance and property management abilities.
• Hospitality management experience with a focus on guest relations and service excellence.
• Leadership qualities, reliable, trustworthy and able to work autonomously.
• Long‑term commitment, no alcohol or drug dependency.
