Toddler Teacher – Floater

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher – Floater to join its early‑learning classrooms. You will work under the School Director and Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing environment that supports the physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom where children are treated with dignity and respect.
• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, following IEPs and behavior support plans.
• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools.
• Follow safety and supervision policies, documenting and reporting accidents or incidents.
• Manage, document, and escalate child behaviors in line with Cadence policies.

Required profile

• Passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with toddlers.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to follow licensing compliance and safety standards.
• Comfort working with children who have IEPs and behavioral support plans.
