TMS Solutions Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Transport Management Systems (TMS) Solutions Expert to join our technology‑driven logistics team in Johannesburg East. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for our CarLo TMS platform, supporting business‑critical transport and logistics applications and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the designated TMS solution area.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and support software applications in the production environment.
• Investigate and resolve escalated application issues through troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Liaise with vendors and support teams to address technical challenges.
• Perform application upgrades, preventative maintenance, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain support documentation and knowledge‑base resources.
• Support application integration initiatives across business systems while adhering to service level agreements.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Information Systems or a related field (advantageous).
• Extensive experience with the CarLo Transport Management System.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, or transport management processes.
• Experience delivering in‑person or remote training is beneficial.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel when required.
