Tier 3 Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Tier 3 Infrastructure Engineer provides advanced technical support for complex IT infrastructure, handling high‑level escalations, root‑cause analysis, and solution implementation. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain both cloud and on‑premise systems, ensuring availability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2‑L3 administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Fortinet firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, security appliances, and cloud security solutions.
• Manage routing, switching, and wireless networking environments.
• Administer VMware vCenter and Hyper‑V hypervisors, including server hardware, SAN, and vSAN storage.
• Perform Linux and Windows systems administration, including Active Directory and identity management.
• Support Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.
• Monitor networks and systems, manage security tools (firewalls, vulnerability scanners, SIEM), and respond to security incidents.
• Assist with IT and security projects, backups (VEEAM), business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends and contribute improvement ideas.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Tier 3 infrastructure support and high‑level incident resolution.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and enterprise‑level systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
