About the role
Theatre Stock & Equipment Controller is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels across the pharmacy and hospital departments, ensuring that essential supplies are always available to support high‑quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust stock levels to meet daily and monthly demand.
- Ensure compliance with Netcare stock policies, procedures and KPIs.
- Process work requests from multiple hospital divisions and provide timely assistance.
- Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical teams to forecast inventory needs.
- Adapt working hours and priorities according to peak activity periods.
Required profile
- Experience in stock or inventory control within a healthcare environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Good communication skills and ability to build relationships across departments.
- Commitment to adhering to organisational standards and continuous improvement.
