Textile Graphic Designer – Homeware & Print

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Textile Graphic Designer to join a leading South African textile manufacturer. The role involves creating and overseeing print designs for a wide range of home textile products, from curtains to cushions, in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop creative textile and print designs from brief to final production.
• Design, review and oversee print artwork across various product ranges.
• Create accurate colourways and ensure colour consistency throughout the design process.
• Prepare mock‑ups, prototypes and visual presentations for clients.
• Collaborate with production, prototype teams and key account managers to ensure designs are production‑ready.
• Incorporate client and production feedback to refine designs.
• Research current fashion, interior and textile trends to develop commercially relevant concepts.

Required profile

• Strong creative flair with excellent colour knowledge.
• Genuine interest in home textile, fashion and interior design trends.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce technically accurate artwork.
