Tender Coordinator – Engineering (Johannesburg South)

About the role

The Tender Coordinator will manage the full tender lifecycle for both public and private sector projects within the engineering and construction sector. You will act as the central point of contact, ensuring that all submissions meet client specifications and are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end tender processes, including RFQs, RFIs and vendor assessments.
• Manage online tender submissions through client portals.
• Analyse tender requirements, ensure compliance and prepare technical, commercial and legal documents.
• Maintain and update company legal and compliance records.
• Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to management.
• Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information and build stakeholder relationships.
• Develop bid content, presentation decks and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) plus a degree in Mechanical, Civil or Architectural engineering.
• APMP or equivalent bid‑management certification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in tender coordination, bid management or procurement within construction/engineering.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Knowledge of public‑sector procurement regulations.
