Temporary Bookkeeper – Motor Industry (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Bookkeeper to join our finance team within the motor industry. The role involves full‑cycle bookkeeping, accurate financial administration and supporting month‑end processes. The successful candidate will work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full bookkeeping functions and capture financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records, documentation and cashbook entries.
• Conduct reconciliations and ensure accounts are current.
• Assist with debtors and creditors functions as required.
• Support month‑end procedures and reporting.
• Process and maintain cashbook transactions.
• Ensure all financial information is captured accurately and timely.
• Handle general financial and administrative duties, including organised filing.
• Assist the Finance Department with additional bookkeeping requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.
• Relevant accounting qualification, preferably N4/N5 Accounting or equivalent.
• Proven experience in the motor industry.
• Strong administrative and organisational capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Evolve accounting software.
• Team‑oriented and dependable attitude.
