Telesales Representative – Long Term Insurance (FAIS)

About the role

The company is seeking a motivated Telesales Representative to drive sales of long‑term insurance products in a call‑center environment. You will be responsible for delivering customer‑focused, high‑quality sales interactions while ensuring compliance with FAIS regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales of Instant Life and funeral insurance products through inbound and outbound calls.
• Convert a defined percentage of leads into successful sales while meeting productivity and NTU targets.
• Maintain fair treatment of customers and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Support the company’s growth by achieving profitability goals and adhering to underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• RE5 qualification with at least 150 FAIS credits in Life Insurance products.
• Minimum 2 years proven experience in funeral, life cover or medical telesales.
• Basic understanding of underwriting processes and funeral products such as Eyenu Nonke and Enhance Flexi Funeral.
• Preferably NQF5 qualification in banking products.

Required skills

• Familiarity with funeral insurance product suites.
