Telesales Consultant – Short Term Insurance (Johannesburg)

About the role

The position is based in the Discovery Connect Sales call centre in Sandton, Johannesburg. As a Telesales Consultant you will promote Discovery Insure short‑term insurance products through inbound and outbound telephone interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and generate new business.
• Answer inbound calls promptly and make required outbound calls.
• Coordinate your own administration and maintain accurate query details and statistics.
• Achieve assigned insurance sales targets and quality standards.
• Communicate with members via phone, fax and email.
• Conduct financial needs analysis and overcome objections.
• Adhere to service level agreements and company processes.
