About the role
Join Discovery Connect’s fast‑growing sales call centre as a Telesales Consultant focused on Discovery Vitality products. Based in Johannesburg, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, delivering high‑quality service and driving sales through outbound calls.
Key responsibilities
- Engage prospects over the phone, providing detailed product knowledge and answering queries.
- Achieve a daily sales target of at least 13 new Vitality accounts.
- Process each successful application in the system promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a strong lead conversion rate and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Deliver excellent customer service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Required profile
- Target‑driven and goal‑oriented with a proven ability to work under pressure.
- Team player who is self‑motivated and adaptable to change.
- Resilient, persuasive and able to manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and quick learning capability.
- Fluent, accent‑neutral English and Afrikaans communication skills.
Required skills
- PC literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic email handling and computer navigation skills.
