Telesales Agent – Call Centre (Durban)

About the role

Riseup Management is looking for a motivated Telesales Agent to join its dynamic call‑centre team in Durban. You will engage potential customers over the phone, promote products and services, and help the company meet its sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Contact prospective customers by phone to promote and sell company offerings.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Handle objections and queries effectively to close sales.
• Accurately record customer information and sales activity.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of telesales experience (mandatory).
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Previous call‑centre experience is a plus.
• Target‑driven with a passion for sales and customer service.
• Confident telephone manner and professional attitude.
• Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
• Positive team player with good interpersonal skills.
