Telematics Developer

About the role

Dotsure is building smarter insurance technology that turns driving and vehicle data into real‑time insights. As a Telemetry Developer you will join a fast‑moving team, working on the core platform that powers data‑driven decisions and improves customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python‑based applications that process telematics data.
• Integrate and work with APIs, databases and cloud services to enable data pipelines.
• Support dashboards, reporting tools and visualisations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with real‑time data processing, automation and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and product owners on new ideas, testing and innovation projects.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Enjoys coding, problem‑solving and working with data to uncover patterns.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Python (basic to intermediate).
• Understanding of APIs and database concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL, Git or cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is a plus.
• Experience or interest in dashboards, data visualisation tools, Streamlit or geospatial data tools.
