Technical Trainer – P2

About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Technical Trainer (P2) to design, deliver and continuously improve learning programmes for our mining equipment and solutions. You will work closely with subject‑matter experts to translate job requirements into effective training material and ensure learners acquire the necessary skills and knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Develop curriculum, learning objectives, lesson plans and instructional aids for technical training.
• Analyse job profiles, performance data and critical incidents to identify skill gaps.
• Create and maintain unit standards, pre‑tests, criterion tests and learner guides.
• Deliver classroom and hands‑on training sessions, assess learner performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure legal compliance, SHEQ safety standards and proper use of PPE during training.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, certifications and training reports.
• Gather feedback from internal and external participants and update training material accordingly.

Required profile

• Experience in developing and delivering technical training programmes.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret job analyses and performance data.
• Ability to design instructional material that meets safety and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating training and providing feedback.
