Technical Team Leader

About the role

Join Old Mutual’s Mass Foundation Cluster as a Technical Team Leader, driving day‑to‑day operations for the Worksite Team. You will ensure efficient service delivery, operational excellence, and support the company’s mission to provide accessible financial solutions to low‑ and emerging‑middle‑income customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the Worksite Team, meeting performance targets.
• Monitor operational metrics, implement corrective actions, and report on performance.
• Develop and execute operational plans aligned with business objectives.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
• Manage work allocation, resource planning and team capacity.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, governance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.
• Analyse operational data, provide recommendations and support decision‑making.
• Coordinate implementation of new initiatives, manage operational risks and maintain business continuity.

Required profile

• A diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 2‑3 years of experience in management or leading a team.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
