Technical Support Intern – 12‑Month Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Intern to join our in‑store tech teams for a 12‑month paid internship. You will assist customers with Apple and other technology products, rotate through multiple departments, and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑store and telephone support for phones, laptops, tablets, accessories and related technology.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues and guide customers on device usage.
• Maintain accurate repair and customer records.
• Escalate complex problems to senior technical specialists.
• Participate in a structured rotational training programme across various business areas.
• Travel between stores as needed to support operational requirements.

Required profile

• Completed Matric and A+ and N+ qualifications.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Strong communication, customer‑service orientation and ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel between stores and adapt to a retail schedule.
