Technical Support Consultant

About the role

The Technical Support Consultant will join iStore’s Apple‑focused retail team in Sandton City, providing expert assistance to customers on Apple devices and software. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting, issue resolution and training, ensuring a professional and friendly experience.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Apple products.
• Provide first‑line technical support via phone, chat and in‑store interactions.
• Deliver product training and guidance to customers as needed.
• Maintain high standards of service quality and documentation.
• Collaborate with the repair and sales teams to ensure seamless customer journeys.

Required profile

• Completed Matric and an IT qualification (minimum A+ / N+ certification).
• Previous experience in a help‑desk or first‑line support role.
• Strong tenacity, enthusiasm and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to manage conflict and handle complex situations calmly.
• Proactive attitude toward learning and personal development.
