Technical Services Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead the technical functions of a Northwest mine. The role oversees geology, surveying, mine planning, rock engineering, safety and ventilation to ensure optimal resource extraction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all technical services including geology, surveying, mine planning and rock engineering.
• Develop and maintain mineral resource models and ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration across engineering, safety and ventilation functions.
• Implement best practices and compliance with mining regulations and professional standards.
• Provide strategic input to senior management on technical matters and resource optimisation.

Required profile

• Honours degree in Mining, Geology, Mining Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of technical/mineral resource experience in tabular ore bodies.
• Proven managerial experience overseeing mine technical services.
• Relevant competency certificates or professional registration in mining.
