Technical Sales Engineer – Water Treatment

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer specialized in water treatment to join our engineering team in Johannesburg East. The role combines technical design expertise with commercial sales activities, delivering end‑to‑end water treatment solutions for industrial and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand water treatment needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Perform water analysis interpretation and design appropriate treatment processes.
• Size equipment, prepare technical proposals, quotations and tender documents.
• Support projects from concept through implementation, providing technical assistance as required.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• BTech or BSc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of experience in the water treatment industry, preferably in technical sales or project engineering.
• Proven ability to manage commercial and industrial water treatment projects.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
