Technical Sales Engineer – Hydraulic Solutions for Mining

About the role

The company specializes in hydraulic systems, components and engineered solutions for the mining sector. As a Technical Sales Engineer you will drive sales growth, identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key mining clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue from hydraulic solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining industry.
• Maintain and grow relationships with mining houses, OEMs and EPCM companies.
• Provide consultative, technical expertise and tailor hydraulic solutions to client needs.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and technical proposals.
• Offer application support and recommend fit‑for‑purpose hydraulic products.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in hydraulic sales, preferably within the mining sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, cylinders, valves and power units.
• Proven ability to secure new business and meet sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to mining sites and customer locations; valid driver’s licence.
